Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, the first day of Passion Week, the intense, final week of Jesus on earth before his crucifixion. Jesus is an amazing man. This past Sunday, about 40 of us traveled about 40 minutes from Ixtapaluca, toward our two towering neighbors, Iztaccíhuatl (translated the white woman, or sleeping woman) and Popocatépetl (the smoking mountain), which is a very active volcano.
