I responded to a random email a couple of months ago and said that we would be interested in receiving some gospel portions. Yesterday I took a seat out of the van and drove about an hour and a half north and picked up 16 boxes with 500 Bible portions, the books of John and Romans…8000 in all. That’s a lot of weight in the van. We have already begun to distribute them here. Tomorrow I’ll take one or two thousand to the Iztapalapa church, the church where we ministered for 6+ years.
Last night after our Tuesday evening cell group study we all went out for tacos. Some good eating! If you have never eaten tacos in Mexico, you really have no point of comparison.
Tonight we start a new study in Los Heroes at 9 p.m., after an English class there at 7.
Good news! Mayra has her appointment for her naturalization/citizenship with INS Oct. 24.
