Baptisms

Posted in

Yesterday we rented three buses and went about an hour and a half away to a public swimming park for baptisms. We went along with another church, the Iztapalapa Bible Church, where Mayra and I ministered for 6 years previously.

9 people from the church were baptized from the church here in Ixtapaluca…Alex and his wife Mar, Mauricio, Antonio, Melanie, Laura, Abigail and her two sons Saul and Abraham. It was a very special time. We started the day with a song time and a testimony time, then the students from the U.S. presented a mime and corresponding dance based off of the song “Hungry”, which they translated and sang in Spanish.

Then we invaded the pool…it was an awesome time with our very public baptismal time.
