This is a really sad post! Over the weekend my youngest cousin, 10 year old Benjamin Aungst, went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. Today, at 7:31, Ben went to be with Jesus. Please pray for his mother Anne, dad Dwight and brother Sam as they work through this. Benjamin had Downs syndrome, and over the years frequently needed emergency care. He was a sweet boy, and loved to be with our daughter Cathy (in the picture below, a few years back). He will be missed until we see him again.
I’ve never really met Ben but I’ve seen him around church and his brother, Sam, really cared about Ben. I felt heart broken when I heard the news. I’m just glad that Ben isn’t suffering and is with Jesus forever..
