CAM Int’l has a new name and logo to promote short term missions experiences. Emerge! This year, 19 students will be participating in CAM’s internship program, going to 5 or 6 different countries. Before, when Mexico was pretty much the only internship available, we’d receive all 19 (or the majority). Really cool that now there are many more destinations. Of the 19, only 4 are coming this way this year.
Mayra and I are taking a break from the internship program this summer, after coordinating it for the last 7 years. Good friends and generally all around fantastic people Brent and Le Ann Downs are doing it this summer.
Mayra and I plan to initiate a new 6-month to 2 year mobilization experience starting in September. There are currently 4 young people interested in coming down and being involved in a number of ministries, including ESL, community outreach, youth ministry and more.
