We are gearing up for a summer kids Bible club (DVBS) this year again in Jesús María. This is actually the ninth year that Marta, a woman from our church who previously attended a Baptism mission in the same area, has coordinated this club. We are expecting upwards of 100 kids each day. The club will go from Monday, August 8 through Saturday, August 13, with a special invitation to the parents to attend a closing program at the church August 14.
The club goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every day. This year we are doing the club in conjunction with a group of 21 people from Fremont Alliance Church. Please pray for this outreach, for our preparations for the club and also for food and housing arrangements for the 21 people from Nebraska, mostly young people, that will descend upon us soon!
