Gearing up for tomorrow

Posted in

I just finished the 11 song Powerpoint for tomorrow’s song service, and am babysitting of sorts right now, as Mayra touches base with a lady in the church. Seems like we always have at least 2 or 3 extra kids around the house.

We have a new, semi-permanent resident in the house, our newest pet (remember, the no-dog guilt at work). Cathy’s iguana has sparked a rather fervent debate among members of the Fry family whether this latest acquisition was really a good idea. All sorts of real or imagined facts regarding this latest reptile…that they carry salmonella, that they really take a while to adjust, etc… But, in the meantime we have a new resident in the Fry household.

We’re gearing up for Superbowl Sunday here. Just went to the store and bought an insane amount of meat, onions and soda for our grilling tomorrow. Arrachera is SO good on the grill. We’ve invited 13 people for the party tomorrow, but I’m sure more than that will come. Hope the 14 lbs of meat and the 10 lts. of soda I purchased is enough!

Daniel is a die-hard Pittsburgh fan. Mayra leans towards Pittsburgh too. David and I will be rooting hard for Green Bay!
