Interns Here!

Posted in

15 students arrived this past Wednesday, and two more students today…we spent our first days in an orientation time in a hotel in Mexico City. It’s a great group…very committed and talented people. These past few days were full of praise and worship times, cultural orientation times, visits to key sites in Mexico City, including Chapultepec Castle (today), the Basilica of Guadalupe (yesterday) and the Zocalo and Templo Mayor (Thursday). Last night we started our book study (Cross-cultural Servanthood), had some testimony and reflection of how God is working in all our lives…then a birthday party for Alyssa Johnson (22). Just so happens that Alyssa likes to dance salsa and cumbias…so we did some of that too…well, some did, I sure didn’t! Then we sang praise songs till 12:45 a.m. What a great time.

All the interns are now getting to know their hosts. I think this summer is going to be very special. Thanks for your prayers.
