Internship details

Saturday I printed out the pictures of the interns for their respective host families…people here are getting excited about it. Today I hope to get the notebooks printed out and copied…just waiting on a few illustrations from Samuel. I was able to modify the notebook significantly reflecting some good comments from Brad and others.

Hotel rooms are reserved, conference rooms too. I’m packing 15 different envelopes with about $45 each to distribute to the students as they arrive, for their food and transportation expenses for this coming weekend. Several of the meals will be eaten on their own.

Yesterday we went to Iztalapapa’s 12th anniversary Sunday, I preached there. This is the church where we spend 6 1/2 years of our lives. It was good to see old friends and reflect on God’s goodness. They have their own church property which they were able to purchase in large part due to the generousness of 4 supporting churches in 4 States (PA, OH, MI, CA).
