Iztapalapa Passion Reenactment

This is part of a procession that takes place every year in Iztapalapa, the judgement of Christ before Herod and Pilate, then his walk to the cross. Our friends Ivan and Karen invited us to their house, and I took this video from their roof as Jesus stopped here, and the crowd, and Roman soldiers on horseback, and police desperately trying to control the crowd flowed by us on the street below. It was…chaotic!
