Let the Games Begin

Tina has a great post summarizing some of the activities of this summer. Check it out HERE.

Daniel’s football season is just about to start after practicing since February. He’s doing well! Looks like he’ll either be defensive end or right linebacker. He hits hard…I have to watch myself or I find myself tackled into a sofa or bed.

Here’s our song service for Sunday. Know any of these?

Amor sin condición
Somos el pueblo de Dios
Hoy y siempre te alabaré
Llévame al lugar santísimo
Quiero levantar mis manos
Al estar ante ti (new song for us)
La niña de mis ojos

Quote of the Day: Washing feet was an important part of ancient life. It was an act of hospitality, hygiene, and a religious ritual of cleansing, but it was demeaning. It was done only by slaves. Yet it was considered so demeaning that while Gentile slaves might have to do it, a Jewish master was not to compel a Jewish slave to wash his feet. There are a few exceptions.
