Today is Mayra’s birthday, although I am not allowed to say how old she is obviously, although to me she is still very young. She left the house early today to attend a women’s conference with some of the women in the church. Today I have youth group, as David is in Uruguay. The kids are out playing with friends.
Hurricane Felix, or what was left of him (hur?) really did nothing out of the usual here.
The work at the church continues to progress. Yesterday I went with Mario the mason to get 30 square meters of flooring tile and 4 large bags of tile mortar…heavy stuff. Soon we’ll have tiled floors on both the top and bottom floors of the church.
