Oh my goodness this was a while ago, like 22 years ago, but what fun it was! Sandy Patty came to sing at a Moody Chapel service. A couple of friends, I think the ring leader was Tim Mercaldo, wanted to do something special and totally unapproved for Sandy Patty. After her first song “Let there be Praise,” the six of us walked down the two aisles in Tory Gray and filed up on stage. We presented the roses to her, then sang a goofy song.
