Men’s Study, Colossians

Posted in

Last night, 9 of us met at 8 p.m. for a men’s Bible study at Matt and Alyssa’s house (that’s what everyone still calls it). We usually eat tacos first, but this time we read the whole book of Colossians out loud (10 verses each) until we had finished the book, then concentrated on chapter 2.

Paul confronts challenged to the true faith that were coming from the Jewish legalists and the pagan mysticists, exalting the deity of Christ and the complete sufficiency of knowing and being know by Jesus. Great stuff.

After the study, an important decision; what taco stand to visit? After significant debate, we chose El Guero. Below…the group, and Dylan eating an eye-ball taco, a first for him! Go Dylan!
