Muñoz and Mendez families

Posted in

Two of our favorite families, Toño and Becky Muñoz and Martin and Laura Mendez, have visited us during this Christmas season.

The Muñoz surprised us by stopping by on their way back from Puebla sometime last week. We even got to play a game or two of Settlers! I won’t mention who won…because I didn’t win both of them! The Muñoz family have been incredibly faithful in the Tlalpan Bible Church for the last 5 years, and our friendship goes way back to 1997, when we worked together for a year in the Iztapalapa Bible Church.

Martin and Laura are also dear friends, co-workers in the ministry here in Ixtapaluca. They stopped by for breakfast today, delicious tamales with rosca de reyes for dessert (is it appropriate to have dessert for breakfast?). We are SO thankful to God for their lives, and faithfulness to the Lord in family and ministry.

Mayra and I would like to start a guest book for all our visitors this 2010…there promises to be many!
