New Life in Christ Studies, Revive Ministry

Posted in

Our friend Samuel has been working on the artwork Volume 5 of New Life in Christ, or Nueva Vida en Cristo, a series of Bible studies that we have used extensively here. Camino Global missionary Mark Robinson has been working on these studies for many years now, and they have been translated in many different languages.  Check out Volume 4 in English HERE. You can download a Volume 1-4 in Spanish HERE. All downloads are free of charge, in pdf format. Volume 5 coming soon!

I’ve started to have Daniel listen to Ravi Zachariah’s podcasts as part of his home schooling. Why didn’t I do this before! The poem below is one that he mentioned in today’s talk. Good stuff.

Last night I met Craig Johring. He started an organization called Revive, and brings groups down from the U.S., involving them in orphanage work and street children ministries, among other things, here in Mexico City. Check out his website here Site in English and Spanish. Or check out Craig’s blog HERE. Logo below. Craig brought a group of 12 students from Wayne University in Nebraska for a visit here yesterday. Check out Tina’s blog for more details. More than 100 kids showed up for basketball and games.

Poem of the Day:
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
`My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!’
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away”.
