Because of serious space limitations we organized the kids day activities into several different events…an evangelistic puppet presentation downstairs (called “The Secret of the Castle–see pic, castle created by Mayra), a singing and drama time upstairs, and a clown outside keeping children entertained while they waited their turn to enter.
It was a great time, with many parents attending along with their kids.
In other news, yesterday Miguel and Alberto began the installation of the lights, electric sockets and switches in the upstairs section of the church. They discovered that the cement roof has buckled some under its own weight, causing a rather large puddle of water to collect on the roof. So before finishing the electrical work, the roof will need to be fixed so that the water drains properly.
We also need to install the windows very soon, as the rainy season is just around the corner.
