Reality Check

Posted in

This past Saturday we began our time be checking our average screen time on our cell phones. Turns out the average hours went from 3 to 7 to a record 13 hours daily! We talked about how certain social media (like Facebook) is becoming obsolete to younger users because it requires a bit of data entry to set up. Everything needs to be increasingly fast and easy (like Tiktok and Snapchat).

How does social media impact real, social interaction? What is the definition of friendship? How has instant communication made relationships more complicated?

Reality Check is a forum for 17-30 year old young adults to come together and talk about these challenges and more.

Where: Cornerstone Youth Center, Elizabethtown PA                                                                                                    When: Every Saturday, from 6-9:30 p.m.                                                                                                                                What: Basketball, pool, ping pong, board games, video and game room, open stage and more…

Come and hang out, eat, discuss and create community with others, who need a place to relate at the end of 2020.
