Redemption

Posted in

We just finished week 4 on our Tuesday night study on salvation. Now that we totally have mastered the concepts of justification and sanctification (not), we dedicated a week to a conversation about redemption. A price paid to liberate someone from slavery. Freedom over Satan, sin, fear of man, death, the law and so much more. Jesus paid a debt he did no owe, I owed a debt I could not pay. The story of Barabbas. The story of the little red boat. God made us, we strayed, then he bought us back. Doubly his.

During our study, Alejandro hung up a banner that Samuel designed on the front wall of the church. Many people still don’t know that we are meeting at this new location. Here’s a picture of the banner, with some of the people that attended the Bible study tonight.
