Saying Goodbye…again

Posted in

Goodbyes are never fun, but here in Ixtapaluca we’ve elevated it to the likes of an art form. A goodbye never happens without a blessing. Tonight we said goodbye to Hannah Galloway, who has been here for 8 weeks, and Chris Kemp, who has spent the last 4 weeks here. Both of them have been a blessing to our church family, and have been officially adopted by all of us.

Tomorrow also marks the official end of the field part of CAM’s summer internship. It is always a relief to come to this time and look back on how the Lord has protected and blessed us over the past 8 weeks. So much has happened!

Last night we celebrated (early) our son David’s 9th birthday by taking him and 8 other kids to the circus. Not sure which was more lively, the circus or our van there and back. Great time! A couple of pictures below.
