Spain Trip–Sevilla, Guadix, Granada and Malaga

Posted in

After Ubeda we headed south, then west, than back east again. During our time in Sevilla we met Salvador, Lola and Isaias, and stayed with Juan and his wife. We also spent some time at the ABRE center and met their staff…great place. From there we went back east to Guadix, a beautiful town with a view of the snow covered Sierra Nevada mountain range. In Guadix we saw some very sad processions, that went on all evening and night…Thursday, Easter Day, through Friday.

We finished out our time with dynamo Benjamin Martin, a church planter and evangelist who also coordinates the ministry of Evangelism in Action. A Spaniard, he spoke to us a lot about what it takes to be a missionary in Spain. I preached in two different churches in the morning and evening. Samuel and Luis did illustrations with drawings, and Mayra, Ana and Lindsey gave testimonies.

Throught the whole trip Brad was amazing, driving us through narrow streets and to unfamiliar destinations…finally making sure that Mayra even got to eat paella, a typical Spanish rice and meat dish.
