Summertime Summertime

As is often the case during the summer, there’s a lot going on here.

Today, a group of 26 people arrive from Mt. Calvary Church.  Also today, a couple from Kansas, Phil and Jessie, arrive. They are desirous of serving as missionaries in Mexico. It’s gonna be fun!

The logistics of transporting and feeding a group of nearly thirty people is, well, daunting. Here, we always put people in host homes. Over the next week, we’ll have people in 13 different Mexican homes. At the same time, construction continues at the Jesus Maria church.

We’d ask you to pray with us as we participate in four separate outreach events, in which we’ll be donating over 60 hearing aids and over 400 pairs of reading glasses. Also two youth meetings, a visit to an orphanage and a rehab center, English and craft classes and a day of tourism. Particularly pray for Mayra, as she has a lot on her plate, making sure so many details are in place.

Thanks!

Below, some additional pics on the progress of the JM construction.
