Teaching and Learning

Posted in

The interns are involved in teaching English in several neighborhoods nearly every day, and on Tuesday were invited to visit a Jr. High school in Jesús María, located very close to where we do our community center activities. The teacher was very kind to us, and invited us all for tea and sweet bread after teaching, where we interacted in English and Spanglish with some of the students. Great times!

Among the favorite foods so far…pambazos (with a chile guajillo sauce), tacos dorados with pollo en adobo and, of course, tacos al pastor. A quote from tonight…”man am I going to miss this food!”
