Below are pictures from Sunday and yesterday. Today we made it through both sports clubs without any rain, with the following attendance:
35 in the noon-2 p.m. sports club
55 in the 4-6 p.m. sports club
35 in the 4-6 p.m. ESL class.
Attendance more than doubled in the sports clubs from Monday to Tuesday, and the ESL class more than tripled from yesterday to today. Part of that had to do, I’m sure with the weather, but the more probably reason is that we the neighborhood now knows what’s going on.
The first picture below is perhaps the most important one…the cooks! Mayra and her crew of very willing and dedicated women have been preparing meals for, on average, around 35 people every noon.
