Update on Daniel

Posted in

Some of you have asked recently how Daniel is doing, after his rather scary episode on November 19, when he got tunnel vision, his hands felt tingly and he practically lost his ability to speak (Daniel speaks very fast in both Spanish and English).

The picture below is a quick pic that I snapped right before his MRI. The attention was pretty amazing, I must say. We weren’t able to see a neurologist until several days later due to the holiday weekend here (celebration of the Mexican Revolution).

Several friends suggested that the diagnosis was likely a migraine incident, and the doctor confirmed that. He prescribed some changed to Daniel’s diet and computer/video game/TV time. So far, we’re very happy to report, Daniel has been totally back to normal, or at least as normal as you can be when you’re 13. Thanks for your prayers!
