Today my dad and two other guys in the church, Samuel and Miguel, and I will be cruising around the city buying wood to make a pulpit today. Last night was the planning time…quite enjoyable to watch as my dad, who speaks no Spanish, communicated to Samuel, who speaks virtually no English. I think they came up with a plan…using inches and centimeters.
It was hopping here last night, with 34 people in our house, the grill going and people enjoying lemon sponge pies that my mom made.
