Youth Campfire

Posted in

Last night we had a campfire at Samuel and Aurora’s house. Seems like whenever we say the word fogata, or campfire, it rains. Last night it poured…so much so that we did the whole first part of the evening inside, playing “get to know each other” games, singing (complete with drums and an amplified acoustic guitar) and a devotional brought by Samuel. We were happy to see 4 young people who have never previously attended a youth group activity.

Around 9:30 it stopped raining, so we filtered outside and started the campfire, the boyscout way of course, with gasoline! The hot dogs were great, at least the ones the dogs didn’t get. Oh, and the “fuzzy bunny” competition at the end of the night was memorable, with first place going to….Allan!
