A Long Weekend…for Day of the Dead

Posted in

No school tomorrow or Friday.  Halloween is today, then two days of Day of the Dead in Mexico.  It is one holiday that Christians do not celebrate here.  Pretty dark.  But it gives us a four-day weekend!  Speaking of Halloween, here’s some interesting thoughts on the whole phenomenon.   Click HERE.  And an article about what Christians should know…click HERE.

I played racquetball with Samuel, Sammy, Alex and Daniel this morning.  We play every Wednesday, and I finally started to get the hang of it, after several weeks of bitter defeat!  The problem is, it takes me several days for my legs to feel normal again!  What’s with that??!!

Looks like this summer is shaping up to be full!  If you want to bring a group down this summer, let us know soon!

Rumor has it we’re going to be invited to Valley Bible Church‘s missions conference this year.  We were going to go last year, but do to some medical concerns with the senior pastor, part of the conference was suspended.

Flashback!  Moody Chorale during our Great Britain/Europe tour circa 1987.  Lots of good memories!  I used this pic in a Music in Missions workshop at Corban last week.  The Moody Chorale with all their tours in concerts around the world was been a missions agency in and of itself!  Great to hear recently from Mr. Edmonds! (Mr. Ed)
