Blogs of note

Posted in

Before my trip to Moody, I took a survey of some trusted younger friends to investigate what sort of alternative sources of information some of them frequent. A huge, new source of information for all of us are blogs, which can be quite newsy, or very personal. They can be very practical, or totally philosophical.

Here are some of the blogs that I look at occasionally, and some of which I’ve only visited a couple of times, but have found interesting. Warning! You won’t agree with all the viewpoints presented on all of these sites and blogs!

RealClearPolitics (along with RealClear World, Markets, Sports)
Joel Rosenberg´s Weblog
Stand to Reason
Seth Godin’s blog
The Drudge Report
Christus Victor Ministries
Desiring God, John Piper
www.boundless.org Focus on the Family
Neil Cole
Stuff Christians Like
Ed Stetzer
Michael Hyatt
Wimp.com (interesting videos)
Alltop.com

Hope you find these sites helpful, as I do!

October 30 is a busy day for all of us at the church. Martin and Sendero 1 are planning a big concert with a rather famous singer here, Charlie Bostik. That same day the women have a conference in Tlalpan. Here’s a promo poster for the ladies event.

Ok, just had to add this video too…
