Darrol and Kim Prusia, CAM candidates to Mexico who plan to use martial arts to reach out to the community, visited us over the last week seeking to visualize what such a ministry might look like here.
Dan Coots, a friend of the Prusias and blackbelt in karate, came down with them. During a really neat time of training and the sharing of techniques with a karate club here, Dan fought a 5 point bout with Cristian, a Mexican blackbelt in karate here. Dan is a blackbelt in Tai Kwon Do.
The cultural interaction was great! Mexico City’s 7200 ft. altitude was a killer for Darrol and Dan.
