Fishing!

Posted in

This past weekend was crazy busy…but a highlight was Saturday morning. 7 of us drove up to the Cortez’s pass, between the two 17,000 ft.+ volcanos. Armando and Gabriel, two guys that I hope start coming to church, went along…their first activity of any kind with the church. Armando started coming to English classes about 3 weeks ago, and Gabriel is Edith’s husband. Edit and her mother and daughter are faithful English class students also.

The purpose of our trip was to check campsites and prices for a men’s retreat scheduled for April 18-20. Of course, we had to fish a bit…Daniel caught 3 trout, one quite large.

Pray for Armando and Gabriel and our first-ever church men’s retreat in April.

The white plume in the middle is an exhalation of gas and ash. Popocatepetl, the sleeping giant, has been spouting off almost daily.
