Mother’s Day Serenades

Posted in

Last night around 20 of us, including a bunch of young people and 5 adult men sang serenatas to 19 houses. We started at 11 p.m. I got home after dropping a couple of the youth back at their homes at 4:30 a.m. Oh my goodness, I’m tired today, and coming down with a cold I think. Mothers actually enjoy being woken up to the sound of a serenade outside their window…something I will never understand!

Jim and Shari were here again yesterday. Shari was able to see two homes that Jim and I visited last Wednesday. One four-bedroom home looks like a very good possibility for them to rent.

Yesterday morning we went to Daniel and Cathy’s school for their Mother’s Day program, a BIG deal here in Mexico. Pictures and video forthcoming.
