Paso de Cortez outing

Posted in

Yesterday I dropped of this year’s interns at the airport, we left here at around 6:30 a.m. But on Saturday, as I wrote previously, we enjoyed spectacular weather and beautiful surroundings near Paso de Cortez. The host families and their interns enjoyed one last day together. Both snow-capped volcanos were visible, and not surrounded by clouds, as they have been most days during the past month. We were even able to see La Malinche, another 14,000+ ft volcano near Puebla.

After lunch (carne asada, with beef, chorizo, onions, queso fundido, etc…) we had a sharing time where both Mexican host families and interns were able to share at least one thing they learned through their 3 weeks of living together this summer. Good time had by all.

Mayra and I thank God for another extremely profitable summer!

God loves us the way we are but He loves us too much to leave us that way.
