Tiempo de Vivir Community Center Activities

Posted in

The week we kick off another semester of community center activities. I’m heading in to teach our first guitar class in a few hours. Camino Global intern Anson is helping with all the English classes while he’s here in Ixtapaluca.

This semester we’ll be offering English, guitar, baking, dance, basketball and craft classes, as well as almost daily exercise classes at 8 a.m. every morning. The community center has been an integral part of our church planting outreach now. Who says church can only work on Sundays?

Lots more to write about last week…but you can check out Daniel’s blog by clicking HERE. He talks about a terrible accident we saw on our way up to McAllen, TX, and Rio Grande Bible Institute.

Oh, and by the way, Anson had his board game initiation here at the house, with a game of Power Grid. And he only lost by $6! At that rate, he might actually win a game or two by the time he leaves Ixtapaluca!
