Vote for Jonatan’s Video Please!

Today eight of us when in our 7 person van to Puebla, plus luggage (and a parachute of all things).  The interns are with Kevin and Andrea Bult and their family for the next several days, staying in the dorm rooms at Puebla Bible Seminary.  The plan is to visit several different orphanages over the next couple of days.  It was great touching base with Kevin, then sharing a Starbucks table with Brian Nacy and solving several of life’s toughest problems in an hour or so.

We’ll be picking up (hopefully) another dozen wheelchairs for another event this Friday.  Another 11 students from the special needs school have solicited chairs.  We have to figure out what else to do during the presentation.  After our break dancing performance, well, were do you go from there??

A special request…a good friend and former intern, Jonatan Toledo, is participating in a video competition, and needs our support.  Click on this LINK, then watch the video and vote for it.  Below, a picture of our 2008 interns, in all their glory!  Jonatan, kneeling below, showed us some good times that summer.  One time, on the way to Amecameca, during an impromptu action scene, he stepped in a very smelly cow pie, and stunk up our van for a while!   Also below…Abby graduated from MBI, Brooke and Emily are married, Crystal just finished her masters in physical therapy from a school near Denver, and Jonathan FINALLY passed Hebrew and graduated from Gordon Conwell.  You did, right Jon?  Alex Jimenez still lives here in Ixtapaluca.

Quote of the Day: When two people in suits come to my door with logical answers about every theological subject, I not only find them boring, but I know they are false prophets. If you can explain all there is to know about God, then your god is too small for me. I want a God who is bigger than my 5.5″ X 6.5″ cranium.
