We arrived home from the cabin this past Friday and came and visited our good friends Jeff and Kim Allem and their kids Saturday. Today we were blessed to attend the church where Jeff is now senior pastor, Calvary Fellowship Church in Downingtown, PA. The kids have been loving the swimming and we have so much enjoyed the fellowship. Good to hear Jeff, Jessy and Austin’s band too. Hope they can come down and visit us sometime soon.
David still isn’t speaking much English…maybe by the time we start heading south again…he’s pretty stubborn, though, our little Davey-boy!
It’s been fun keeping in touch with the group of students from this past summer via Facebook. Yes, I may be a bit too old for that nonsense, but hey, I have 48 friends.
This week…Mayra and I escape w/o kids to Ocean City Maryland for a couple of days, then this Friday very likely driving up to Potter County on the PA/NY border for a father/son retreat and some trout fishing. Life is tough!
