This weekend we are excited to have a group of students from Word of Life Bible Institute, located near Peña de Bernal, Querétaro. They will be doing evangelistic presentations today and tomorrow, as well as participating in both churches Sunday morning. The group is called Zona de Impacto, or Impact Zone.
They will be busy! This weekend Mexico celebrates día del niño or “Kid’s Day.” The WOL group is doing a presentation today at 11 a.m., another at 2 p.m., then a youth meeting at 4:30 p.m. Tomorrow, after church in the morning they will be doing a presentation at 3 p.m. in Palmas 1, then another at 5 p.m. in Jesús María.
On Monday morning they will be giving series of conferences beginning at 7:30 a.m. through 1 p.m. to 1500 Jr. Hi students at a local school. The topic…How to Make Good Decisions and Avoiding Auto-destructive Conduct.
We are happy to be able to host Cheila, a student from Portugal from a church in Lisboa where my uncle and aunt Bob and Joyce Fry served for about 16 years as missionaries with ABWE. Matteus, from that same church, is also here this weekend, living in Kaycee’s house in Palmas 1.
