Ahh…real chairs!

Posted in

Thanks to a generous gift from a good friend and brother who shares my first name, Rod, and his wife Sue, were were able to purchase 35 durable black plastic chairs and a nice sound system for the church. We purchased these particular chairs because they can also be used outside for open-air events. Plus, they’re quite comfortable. After about 2 1/2 years of having to sit on very uncomfortable little blue and gray and green and purple plastic stools, 35 of us felt like kings and queens during the service yesterday.

  1. Hey Rod. I just now discovered your blog. I’ll keep up with you from here. Glad to see you got some new chairs!!! Just make sure they aren’t too comfortable, otherwise people just might fall asleep in them. 🙂
