Do you really know what tacos even are?

Posted in

Some helpful hints to help you determine if you are eating a real taco:

Taco Bell tacos are not tacos.

A “taco” with even a hint of taco “seasoning” in it is not authentic.

“Tacos” with a “hard shell,” well, that’s ridiculous.

No cilantro taste? Not authentic. No chopped onion? Questionable.

Salsa that comes in a little plastic package? Hahahaha

Tortillas not authentic corn tortillas, and small (about 3.5 inches in diameter), well, please.

If the tortillas of your tacos are not dipped in oil/grease and slapped on a gas heated hot plate, burning the taco dude’s fingers repeatedly, well, sorry…

Don’t serve tongue or tripa at your favorite haunt? Maybe you should find a real taco joint.

Here’s where I had cena tonight. Eat your heart out…
