How Great is Our God

Posted in

Yesterday was a full day and another standing-room-only service at Sendero JM. Really a special time of worship, with the team from Word of Life Chapel participating in the service with a few songs and testimony.  Among the songs sung, a couple that were known both in Spanish and English, including How Great is Our God.

In the afternoon, Mayra took cousin Marla, Amelia and Cathy to Xochimilco’s huge flower market. Later that afternoon, around 50 people invaded our house for some football (video below), games, fellowship, food and the customary blessing time.  Oh, and a piñata! Quite the day!

This morning the team of 10 returned to the airport, and are soon arriving in Harrisburg. I was expecting to pick up Jeff and Josh from Leroy Community Chapel, but alas, their plane in from Guatemala City was delayed, then canceled…but we’re expecting them in later on tonight.

Quote of the Day: God became man to turn creatures into sons: not simply to produce better men of the old kind but to produce a new kind of man. C.S. Lewis
