Jerseys and Fooseball

Posted in

Today we picked up 15 basketball jerseys, complete with numbers and last names on the back. Our two boys, Daniel and David, and Samuel’s kids Esli and Sammy all have official jerseys, as well as 11 other kids, 15 in all. We took them from the sports store to another business that Sam’s cousin owns. He is going to embroider the team logo on the front, free of charge.

We want to thank Lois Dohner and Cameron Fenske for making these purchases possible. In addition to this we recently purchased a fooseball table for the community center, and are working into turning on of the classroom spaces into a youth hang-out/coffee shop (thanks Rod and Sue Poskitt!).

Your contributions to this ministry really help us make a difference! Thanks so much.

Mayra and I are waiting for our Canadian guests to come any minute! Our co-workers are hosting a team of 4 from Canada, and two of them will be staying with us tonight. They will be supporting a CAM field conference in days ahead, as well as being involved in various activities here in Ixtapaluca.
