Samaritans Purse activity

Posted in

Today I was in a 5-hour training time, a requirement for those church leaders interested in taking part in Samaritan Purse’s Christmas project, a project in which kids in the U.S. and Canada pack shoe boxes full of gifts. These boxes are then wrapped and sent to Mexico and to many other countries.

I have asked to receive 110 gifts for our church’s evangelistic activity, sometime after Christmas. We will pay 7 pesos (about 70 cents) per gift for shipping, etc…, but will be able to give the gifts, which cost much more than that, free to invited children. The focus is unsaved kids, or kids at risk.

Samaritan’s Purse is an international relief organization started by Franklin Graham. You can check them out at http://www.samaritanspurse.org/.
