Sick!

Posted in

I didn’t go to serve breakfast at Valle de Chalco today, because my whole being just aches, feel like I’ve been clobbered by a baseball bat! The flu or something, maybe strep throat, maybe something I picked up from walking around the muck this past week.

This just in…a Mexico City newspaper reports new leaks in the dike. Click HERE to read the article in Spanish. Rains today and likely tomorrow are feeding fears that the canal could rupture again. This would not be good.

We have moved our base of operations from the edge of the effected area to more in the center, and plan to continue with breakfasts for another couple days. After that…we’ll be distributing of sorts of help; Clorox and boxed food.

Here’s a video that Jim made of today. Check out www.cottrillcompass.com/blog for more info.
