Superstar Soccer Status (video)

It’s always kinda fun to take college students from the U.S. into Jr.Hi. and High Schools here. There is almost always an immediate identification and friendship.

Last week Nick and a teenager went head-to-head (or foot to foot) doing soccer moves and stunts. Probably upwards of 100 kids gathered around to watch. Pretty much everyone agreed that the kid bested Nick!

Tomorrow…everyone will be watching the U.S. play Germany, for first place bragging rights in the group of death. I’m talking about soccer by the way. World Cup. Remember, that game everyone else on the planet is crazy about. Looks like it might be catching on a bit, finally, in the U.S., if Twitter and television stats are accurate. The U.S.’s chances of beating Germany…slim to none. Although most everyone thought the same about the Portugal game, and that one the U.S. nearly won (it ended in a 2-2 tie).
