The Beach!

Posted in

Due to the influenza virus, school was unexpectedly canceled all this week (through next Wednesday). Museums closed down. Most churches canceled church services last week (we didn’t last Sunday, but are meeting in small groups tomorrow). So…what do you do with three kids at home with no place to take them? You go to the beach.

Friends Toño and Becky Muñoz invited us to accompany them to Acapulco, to a house that belongs to one of the men in their church. So…we went! We didn’t pay a dime to stay in the house, and were able to drive about 20 minutes to the beach. Cool! We saw the famous cliff divers on Thursday night, and enjoyed the beach several days. Now…we’re back in Mexico City, with serious tans/burns!

  1. We did notice a large number of beach-goers this weekend…starting on about Wednesday. It felt like semana santa again…almost! Looks like you guys had a fantastic time enjoying the ocean. This is the perfect time of year for it!!!

    Bendiciones!!!! Lavense las manos!!! ;^)
