The doors…

Posted in

We ate a late supper with the two Pacos (both elders at the Ubeda church) and several other church people and today had a great “breakfast” as a team of “churros” and thick, very good hot chocolate.

Samuel and Luis started painting two doors that the two Pacos (the two elders here who also run a carpentry business) made…already people have stopped and engaged us in conversation. Right now we are in the Lorhenz house…we left Samuel and Luis painting and we came back to eat…they should be almost done with their painting.

They are doing a design that illustrates creation, fall and redemption in an abstract way. Actually we decided that they will stay here through Thursday to continue to use their artistic gifts while the rest of us (5) continue to Sevilla and Guadix.

We are all healthy, except for Ana, who is having stomach issues. Mayra just loves Spain. Of course, she looks like Penelope Cruz, I keep telling her. Thanks for your prayers! Thanks for your prayers.
